“The Eternal Journey”
Format
A one act play with music and dance.
Synopsis
Three people enter a world of unexpected clutter and confusion and try to make sense of it.
Is this the place they were looking for? Is it an art gallery or jumble sale? Surely someone will come to explain what it is and what it means?
When someone finally arrives, all he seems to know is poetry and music. He knows nothing about the place, who he is and why he’s come there. His search for the truth of his own identity strikes a chord of recognition in the others that takes them all beyond words and any of their expectations.
“What did he do?”
“He stole my identity.”
“Don’t blame him, poor sod. He wouldn’t remember whether he was you or someone else.”

Published Reviews
Lee Gershuny….has once again excelled with a finely crafted drama in Beckett-Ionescu idiom, whose deceptively simple, multi-layered dialogue never ceases to challenge, entrance and surprise by its subtle allusion”. The Baptist Times, March 2009
